Hello and thanks for viewing my page! I’m Lisa and I started this blog on my 30th birthday, August 31, 2010, with hopes of connecting to the healthy living blogging community on a new level. I have been enjoying reading healthy living blogs for almost a year now and feel that they have helped me approach nutrition and fitness in a new way. I want to bring that same passion to others through my blog.
A little about me…I have been married to my wonderful husband Craig for two years and we have two cat children.
I enjoy walking/hiking, running, biking, yoga, Body Pump, Boot Camp, going to the gym and playing tennis.
I love to travel, especially to Europe. My husband and I went to Germany, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic for our honeymoon in 2009.
I lived in Lugano, Switzerland for 6 months in 2005-2006 and enjoyed trying new foods there, especially Birchermuesli and Swiss chocolate! 😉 I enjoyed traveling a lot on my own and with friends–I went to Germany, all over Italy, to lots of small and big Swiss cities, Paris, and London. Here are some of the photographs from those travels. Most of my fitness back then consisted of lots of walking in cities and walking to school and back to my apartment every day. I also played soccer or futbol in a coed game during the week.
